Established in 2024 The Neo Historian is a history of culture podcast. Each episode we delve into the history of a cultural event, artwork or phenomenon and hear from authors about their research interests and publications.
The Neo Historian is hosted by Saleema Adu Smith.
Saleema studied European History (BA) at the University of Durham (U.K.) and Sciences Po Aix / Université d'Aix-Marseille (France), followed by Global History (MA) at Freie Universität Berlin (Germany) and Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin (Germany). She also holds an MA in Public Relations from the London College of Communication, University of the Arts London. You can read more about some of her previous research interests here.
Born and raised in London, she has lived in Northern England, Southern France, Tokyo, and Vienna. She now lives in Berlin.
